Selection Process

The Faculty Advisor identifies eligible students based on academic performance, and these students are invited to an introductory meeting to learn about Chi Epsilon. To join, candidates must be approved by the current Chapter Officers and then participate in a pledge program. Upon successfully completing the program, candidates are initiated as full members of Chi Epsilon, joining a prestigious network of civil engineering professionals.

If you meet the eligibility criteria, look out for our formal invitation at the beginning of the Fall or Spring semester.

**If you are a graduate student who was not part of Chi Epsilon as an undergraduate at your alma mater and are interested in joining, please contact us at xe-ce@berkeley.edu for more information. We look forward to welcoming you into our community of future civil engineering leaders.
